Maintenance and wipe clarity

Greetings,
This blog post will go over the upcoming maintenance and wipe times for Early Access 1 (EA1), as well as when Early Access 2 (EA2) will be available so you all can jump back in and play again. I also want to clear up any misunderstanding or confusion that was caused by the last couple of blog posts.

Updated Clarity on the Wipe.
Early Access 1(EA1) & Early Access 2 (EA2)
- Experience (EXP): Your earned EXP from Early Access 1 (EA1) will transfer to the next Early Access 2 (EA2), which is scheduled for February 26th. You will also be able to restart back at level one if you want to. When you first wake up again in BitCraft, you will be asked if you want to keep your EXP.

- Start Fresh - Wipe EXP and Start the game back at level 1.
- Load Experience - All experience (EXP) gained during Early Access 1 (EA1) will be fully retained and automatically transferred to Early Access 2 (EA2) Character.
Note: Player levels may not correspond to the exact same level as Early Access 1 (EA1), as we have adjusted the EXP curve slightly going into Early Access 2 (EA2). This change is coming with power increases which will also make EXP gain faster, allowing for more power progression.
- Character Name Reservation: Your current character name will be reserved for your use in Early Access 2. This will behave exactly like how you name yourself in Early Access 1 (EA1); your name will be pre-populated into the name field. The name reservation is handled "under the hood," so you won't need to do much outside of agreeing to your name when prompted.
Note: if you choose to not use your old name it will be freed up for anyone to take after this point.- Character Name Reservation Time Limit: Character name reservation for Early Access 2 (EA2) will only be available for one month from the start of Early Access 2 (EA2) February 26th - March 27th 2026. To secure your original name, we recommend logging back into the game and claiming it.
- Empire Name Reservation: Empire names will also be reserved; however, only the current Emperor can claim the name in Early Access 2 (EA2). This is handled in the same way as Character Name Reservations, so it's all “under the hood”. When you create an empire, you will just type in your existing empire name you used in Early Access 1 (EA1).
- Empire Name Reservation Time Limit: Empire name reservation for Early Access 2 (EA2) will only be available for one month from the start of Early Access 2 (EA2) February 26th - March 27th 2026. To secure your original Empire name, we recommend logging back into the game and claiming it.
- Hub Account: All cosmetics associated with your BitCraft Hub account like Premium Cosmetics, Titles, Premium Currency, and Twitch drops earned during Early Access 1 (EA1), will be copied to the Early Access 2 (EA2) world.
Note: Reawakened titles or Hexite Pioneer titles are being awarded to the BitCraft Hub during the Maintenance so will not show at this time in the Hub Account.
Full Release 1.0 (TBD)
- Full 1.0 Release: The 1.0 Release will be a Fresh Start World, so all players will begin with zero EXP when the 1.0 world is released (date to be determined). This will ensure a fair start for everyone, even if you played in any of the Early Access’s.
- Character Name Reservation: Your character name will be reserved for when the game goes into Full Release 1.0, provided you played in the Early Access 2 (EA2) World.
- Hub Account: All cosmetic items associated with your BitCraft Hub account like Premium Cosmetics, Titles, Premium Currency, and Twitch drops earned during Early Access 1 (EA1) and 2 (EA2), will be copied to the Full Release 1.0 world.
What is the plan for the Early Access 2 (EA) world once the Full 1.0 Release of the game happens?
- Access to Early Access World After Full 1.0 Release: The Early Access 2 (EA2) world launching on February 26th will remain available for play even after the full 1.0 world goes live.
- Game Updates: Both Early Access 2 (EA2) and the Full 1.0 Release Worlds will remain up to date after full release.
